Scammers often pretend to be from gas companies, internet providers, or appliance brands: “Service check ke liye aa rahe hain.” If you simply trust the call and let them in, you’re giving strangers easy access.
Calling the company’s official customer-care number or checking their app to confirm, “Aaj koi visit scheduled hai kya?” removes that risk. If the company says no, you already know something is off.
Genuine service visits can always be verified. Anyone insisting you don’t check is someone you shouldn’t trust in your home.
