Curtains that are too short—floating a few centimetres above the floor—can look like they shrank in the wash. Curtains that drag a lot on the floor collect dust and get crumpled edges, especially in homes with kids or pets.
When curtains just “kiss” the floor—touching lightly or barely brushing—it creates a clean, tailored look. They hang straight, frame the window nicely, and are easier to open and close without dragging.
It’s a small adjustment in length, but it changes the whole impression from “makeshift” to “intentional.”
