Plants bend towards light. If the sun mostly hits one side, that side grows stronger and the plant leans in that direction. After a while, they look one-sided: lush on one edge, thin on the other.
Turning pots by a quarter or half turn every few weeks gives all sides a chance to face the light. Stems grow more evenly, the shape looks fuller, and the plant doesn’t end up with a permanent “lean.”
It’s a tiny action—just rotate while you’re watering—but it shows in how balanced and healthy your plants look over months.
